About the Yard
Established in 1937 by Don Ignacio Martinoli an Argentinian citizen born in Italy, the yard started by building wooden ships with classical personal designs, by carrying out repairs and maintenance of sport and commercial boats.
About Edgardo Martinoli
An Argentinian born in 1973, Edgardo Martinoli became interested in sailing at the age of 7. He has taken part in important races such as Buenos Aires-Rio de Janeiro, Copa del Rey, Argentinian championships.
He started his studies in the Liceo Naval Militar Alte. Guillermo Brown where he graduated as reserve officer of the Argentinian Navy. He then sailed as a reserve officer and then carried out a 3 year course at university level as a navy engeneer and navy architecture.
He had scholarships in the Building Department of the Yards of Quilmes University and the Nigel Irens 65 category Trimarine project under the lidering of Fernando Sena.
He then went on the design and manage of several race boats building of advanced technology in composite materials.
